I am an experienced and adaptable educator with a background spanning primary, secondary, SEN, SEMH, and adult education. Over the years, I have worked with learners of all ages and abilities, from supporting children with complex needs in specialist settings to teaching core subjects to GCSE level and beyond.
My teaching style is inclusive, flexible, and student-centred, with a focus on building confidence, resilience, and a love of learning. I am particularly skilled in supporting learners with special educational needs and social, emotional and mental health challenges, creating a safe and encouraging environment where every student can thrive.
Alongside my classroom teaching, I have held curriculum leadership roles, developed tailored learning programmes, and delivered training to staff, which has strengthened my ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
Whether I am helping a primary student build strong foundations, preparing a secondary learner for exams, supporting a young person with SEMH needs to re-engage with education, or guiding an adult learner back into study or studying HE, my goal is always the same: to make learning accessible, engaging, and meaningful.
