Vivony Bliss - Tutor Profile

I’m a qualified science teacher by training and have spent many years in secondary education. I regard myself as being able to form a good working relationship with the pupils that I work with. I’m happy to adapt my teaching to suit each individual’s needs, strengths and learning styles. My lessons are friendly, supportive and tailored to help pupils feel more confident.

I have worked at King Alfred’s Academy for the last 14 years as a Tutor. This has involved mainly one to one tutoring, including Alternative Provision (working with pupils off mainstream education), Pupil Premium, pupils not achieving their “target” grades and Special Educational Needs pupils. I mainly tutor maths at Key Stages 3 and 4 but have also tutored science also up to GCSE level.

In addition, I have tutored privately as well as tutoring for Medical Schools with Berkshire County Council. I also have experience of working with pupils where English isn’t their first language.
