Amy has been tutoring in the South Oxfordshire area for over 5 years and tutors approximately 50 people a week! Her speciality is KS3-KS5 Maths & Science, and KS3-4 English, but she also tutors other subjects and age groups. Amy has a Mathematics degree and worked at Larkmead Secondary School in Abingdon in addition to her tutoring, so is therefore very up to date with current curriculum and styles of teaching. Lara is a Mathematics student at UCL. For A Levels, she studied Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry. She achieved all 9’s at GCSE. Lara is friendly and approachable and able to cater to a variety of different learning needs; she is available to tutor for KS3 and KS4 Maths and Science and AS Maths. Danial is a talented and experienced tutor who has been helping students achieve top grades in Mathematics and Science (from KS2 to A-level and beyond) for over 5 years. Danial has graduated with an MEng in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford and is now pursuing a PhD in Chemistry at UCL. Danial focuses on improving conceptual understanding and developing strong problem solving skills and is available for both online and in-person tutoring.

Primary
Sylvia is a primary school teacher with over 25 years experience. She has been tutoring for approximately 3 years, both in person and online. Having worked in inner city schools for most of her teaching experience she is a specialist in EAL and currently teaches English to people in China, Italy and Spain. She also specialises in Maths and English, however she has taught all primary subjects and is up to date with the current curriculum through tutoring in local schools. Sylvia has taught all age groups from nursery to year 6 and has a proven record of accelerated learning with year 6 pupils. To ensure that her phonics knowledge is up to date she has recently taken a course in teaching phonics to both new and struggling learners. She holds a BA with honours in psychology from Reading and a PGCE from Oxford Brookes.

Elle is a qualified primary teacher, who specialises in Primary teaching and KS3 Maths & English. Since graduating from Newcastle, she has gained experience in various schools in the North East, teaching various ages and abilities, across from EYFS – KS3. She is available in person for those in the Derbyshire area and online to anyone. She is a friendly, approachable person and is able to build good rapport with others. She is kind and caring and always has the learner’s best interests at heart.

Jane graduated from Leeds University in 2005 with a BA Hons in Japanese. She then graduated from Reading University in 2011 with a PGCE in Primary Education. Jane taught English in Japan to young children whilst studying for her degree, and has been teaching in West Berkshire since 2011. She has 12 years of teaching experience and currently teaches in a small primary school with a high proportion of SEN students. Jane has tutored for the last 4 years and is up to date with the latest changes to the curriculum, as well as being confident in finding ways to engage with children with additional needs.

Juliette Cheeseman
Juliette is fluent in French as her family originate from Mauritius and her Father spoke French to her from the moment she was born.
She has been teaching French for over 15 years to all ages. For the last eight years, she has been going to Nursery Schools, Primary Schools and tutoring both one to one and in small groups in people’s homes as a private tutor. She has taught pupils from the age of 3 to adult, including preparation for GCSE, Common Entrance, 11+, 13 and A level as well as conversational French. She also has experience with SEN pupils. Since then, she has taught in two Prep Schools and several Secondary Schools, as well as continuing her online one to one teaching. Her lessons are fun and informative. She is a sympathetic and kind teacher with a big sense of humour, who listens and works out the best way in which the pupil learns and adapts her lessons accordingly. She is loyal, hardworking and a good timekeeper.
